Follow these steps to ensure you're handling your SCORKL with care.
- Do not knock it over, throw it into the water or store it in places subject to temperature extremes.
- Never leave the SCORKL standing upright since it can be easily knocked or tipped over. The regulator is finely tuned and may malfunction permanently if it suffers any knocks. It becomes even more sensitive to damage when pressurised. Take special care not to knock the Pressure Indicator.
- Do not drop or throw the SCORKL into the water. When pressurised, Impact with the water may cause the pressure relief safety valve inside the regulator to open, causing an irreversible
“free-flow” event or causing damage to the internal components of the regulator. - Do not store your SCORKL units in automobile trunks or other areas subject to temperature
extremes.
