Can I get my SCORKL refilled at a dive shop?Updated a year ago

Yes, you can get your SCORKL refilled at a dive shop but we don’t recommend it. First, each country has different standards for cylinders so it will all depend on the rules and regulations of the country you are in. The SCORKL cylinders are certified to the European Standard BS-5045-8. While the European standards are the most widely accepted when it comes to scuba diving (in particular, the standard against which we certified the regulator to, EN 250), not all dive shops will comply.

Second, going into a dive store to refill each time is impractical and tiresome since you will only ever get one use out of your SCORKL at a time. Instead, we recommend using the SCORKL Hand Pump or renting a SCUBA tank or dive compressor.
