Can I use the SCORKL in water colder than 15 degrees Celsius?Updated a year ago

Yes, you can use your SCORKL in water temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit) but we don’t recommend it.

The SCORKL was certified against EN 250:2014 which is the European (and de-facto, world) SCUBA standard. For a scuba system regulator, EN 250 requires testing to 40 metres depth (131 feet) and in water no warmer than 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit). Testing to such extremes didn't really make sense for the SCORKL since it is only meant to be for shallow water use. We chose 6 metres (20 feet) and 15 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit) to test against, since they seemed like appropriate recommended ranges of use for its intended use.
