How do I care for my SCORKL post-dive?Updated a year ago

As soon as possible, submerge the SCORKL completely and soak thoroughly for at least 30 minutes in warm fresh water (not over 49°C (120°F)). Be sure the SCORKL has some pressure in the cylinder to prevent the entrance of moisture into the system. Do not depress the purge button.

After the system has been properly soaked, rinse it vigorously by flushing the cavity of the mouthpiece with a steady stream of water. Do not depress the purge button.

Wipe the system as dry as possible with a clean towel and gently shake to dislodge any water. Allow your SCORKL to dry completely in open air away from direct sunlight. 
                     

Do the same with your refill adapters. Rinse the refill adapters in warm fresh water and then wipe dry, shake gently to dislodge any water and allow your refill adapters to dry completely in open air away from direct sunlight.
