How do I store my SCORKL?Updated a year ago

Store your SCORKL in a clean, dry area in a protective container where it will not be exposed to rough handling or extreme temperatures. Store  your SCORKL between 0°C - 30°C (32°F to 90°F). Prolonged or improper storage can result in internal corrosion and/ or deterioration of O-ring seals.

To prevent contaminants from entering the regulator and cylinder, put the Mouthpiece Storage Cover on and tape over other regulator and cylinder openings if disassembled. If storing assembled, keep slightly pressurised with the Mouthpiece Storage Cover on.

Keep the threads on both the Refill Port and Refill Adapter clean and lubricated. Use a high-quality, non-toxic, food grade spray silicone for best results. Do not use a hydrocarbon based oil (i.e. household oil or motor oil).

Do not use any petroleum-based substances to clean or lubricate any part of the regulator and do not expose any part of the regulator to aerosol spray as these can attack or degrade the rubber and plastic materials.
