What should I do before I submerge with my SCORKL?Updated 2 years ago

Before you submerge with your SCORKL, you must test the regulator, purge button and pressure indicator. First, test the operation of the regulator by breathing through it. Next, test the purge button by depressing it. Finally, look at your pressure indicator. When your SCORKL is full the pressure gauge should read 200 bar (3000psi). Do not submerge if your pressure gauge reads at less than 50 bar (725 psi). Do not enter the water if any of these are not functioning.

Practise using it out of water first, then in water where you can stand, then in shallow water. Only use your SCORKL in deep water once you are comfortable using it in shallow water.
